Znaczenie podsystemu gospodarowania odpadami komunalnymi w systemie logistycznym miasta

Streszczenie:
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie istoty podsystemu gospodarowania odpadami komunalnymi w systemie logistycznym miasta. Wraz z rozwojem ekonomicznym miast oraz większą konsumpcją mieszkańców zwiększa się ilość wytwarzanych odpadów w mieście. Sprawne i efektywne gospodarowanie odpadów wymaga zaangażowania wielu interesariuszy, począwszy od władz miejskich, poprzez zakłady zajmujące się utylizacją i składowaniem odpadów, firmy świadczące usługi transportowe a kończąc na świadomości mieszkańców w zakresie właściwego sortowania odpadów. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych zarówno wśród mieszkańców, jak i przedsiębiorstw.

The importance of the municipal waste management subsystem in the city logistics system

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to present the essence of the subsystem of municipal waste management in the city logistics system. Along with economic development and greater consumption by urban residents there has been a corresponding increase in the amount of waste generated in the city. Efficient and effective waste management requires the involvement of many stakeholders, from local authorities, through the facilities involved in the disposal and storage of waste, transport service providers and ending with the awareness of residents on the proper sorting of waste. This paper presents the results of surveys conducted among both residents and businesses.
